Is Tagaytay a good place for an American to live?
Is it better than the Clark area, I been to Tagaytay once and it was absolutely stunning. It looked rich with all the houses and schools. Beautiful scenery also. Just a little concerned about the Volcano nearby. Overall what city is better for an american? I mean with more english speaking american neighbors, and rich stores malls houses ect?
Thank you

I have a home in Tagaytay and I find myself staying here more days than my city home. I built a home here precisely because I couldn’t find a nicer place to live in.
Tagaytay has very good weather, normally 5 celsius lower than Metro Manila. The city is clean. There are decent and well stocked supermarkets and wine stores. Excellent choices of restaurants and cafes by the ridge. Modern hospitals. And wonderful views everywhere you look. I also notice there are no “squatters” here, and everyone lives in decent homes. The volcano is more of a sight than a threat. It last erupted eons ago, and records indicate that Tagytay was never damaged.
