Tagaytay hosts international cooperation and barbeque day

The Filipinos are the most welcoming people on Earth, the highest American official in the Philippines said in a speech given in Tagaytay City recently.
US Ambassador to the Philippines Harry K. Thomas Jr., speaking before expatriates at the launching of the Interna-tional Cooperation and BBQ Day at Tagaytay International Convention Center, cited the good traits and hospitality of the Filipinos, and the beautiful places in the country.

The event, hosted by Mayor Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino, was attended by 86 expatriates residing in the city who were visibly pleased with Thomas’ visit.

In his speech, Thomas spoke highly of Filipinos, particularly in terms of character and partnership, and the country’s scenic areas, which he said, are being cherished much by foreign visitors.
